| Matern Professional Engineering donates its services and man hours to local nonprofit organizations. In addition, MPE has contributed money to fundraisers
that support local non-profit organizations including A Gift For Teaching, Boggy Creek Gang Camp, Canstruction
to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank, Central Florida Boy Scouts, Golden Knights Club, Threshold and Russell Home for A-typical Children, March of Dimes, multiple Foundations for local School Districts, and more.
Our history is one of giving to our communities since the mid 1980's. For example, we want to make a difference where we live by helping our children have better advantages getting started in life and growing up in our communities. This is why we donated our services for the Midway Safe Harbor Facility in Sanford, FL, so the children in that area would have a safe place to go for healthy activities. To help make sure our seniors have what they need, we donated our services for the new Meals on Wheels Facility in the Longwood/Sanford Area. We have also donated design services to A Gift for Teaching, the Boys and Girls Club and the United Cerebral Palsy Center in Pine Hills.
Mr. Matern has personally participated in Engineering Ministries International Love A Child Program, including the New Educational & Medical Facilities Compound project in Fonds Parisien, Haiti, that provides support for the local children where Mr. Matern not only donated his professional design services, he also provided hands on labor.
Mr. Matern is an avid supporter of programs that assist our children, our medically challenged, and our seniors.
