MPE’s experience with designing central energy plants is extensive. We have been involved in the design of more than 100 central energy plants since 1984. Our team has the high-level of expertise in central energy plant design that is needed to have a highly successful project. Delivering cost efficient, reliable chiller plants is our specialty. We have provided central energy plant engineering design services to universities, community colleges and K-12 schools. However, our experience in educational work goes way beyond central energy plant design. Some of the most notable facilities central energy plants we have worked on are Indian River Community College, OUC/Lockheed Martin, Orange County Convention Center, Florida Gulf Coast University, and an Animal Themed Lodge in Orlando, FL. We currently hold a five-year contract with OUC to provide central energy plants throughout Central Florida, which will provide chilled water to OUC clients. We provided start-up engineering services to OUCooling for their 17.6 million gallon thermal storage tank and supervising the work of the individual component engineering firms.
